NANCE PLUMBING - RICHARDSON, TX
I had called Nance plumbing to fix a leak in my home, first of all the man was extremely short with me on the phone and did not give me much information. Due to the fact that I needed immediate assistance for my plumbing problems, I asked the plumber to come on out to my home. Well, when he arrived, not only did he show up, but he had his young daughter with him. How unprofessional! He did get in and get the work done; however, he was the most rude individual person I have ever meet. All I have to say is, if I ever have to call a plumber to due work, it will most diffenetly not be Nance Plumbing, for if I am going to pay that kind of money, it will be with someone I can communicate with and doesnt kind his child to work.

NANCE PLUMBING - RICHARDSON, TX
White Plains Honda

White Plains Honda
On Sunday, February 28th 2009 I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (2006 Honda Civic) from White Plains Honda. The very first day I drove the vehicle (Tuesday, March 3rd), I noticed a knocking sound coming from the driver’s side front wheel. I immediately contacted the dealership who informed me that my sales associate and Assistant Manger of the dealership, Mr. Eddie Giron, was not in. When I did speak with Mr. Giron he assured me the problem would be fixed and asked that I bring the car in for service.
It was explained to me that the caliper of the front tire was adjusted and that the issue should not arise again. In just one weeks time that is exactly what transpired. On my way home from work I noticed the same knocking sound coming from the exact same area. I again immediately contacted Mr. Giron at the dealership and informed him that I was experiencing the same problem. I took the car into the dealership (Sunday) and informed Mr. Giron that I would like to return the car for good. Mr. Giron stated that returning the vehicle would be an option but that a fee would be incurred for doing so. I informed Mr. Giron that a fee would not be an issue as long as the remaining portion of my two thousand dollar down payment would be returned. Mr. Giron stated that he would contact the bank, Honda Financial, on Monday and he would provide me with the details of his conversation with the bank. After no word from Mr. Giron, my wife contacted him on Wednesday of the following week, when he informed her that he had spoken with the bank and he was informed that I would have to pay an additional $2,800 to return the vehicle. My wife then contacted Honda Financial directly and spoke with a bank representative who stated that no inquiries were made regarding my account by the White Plains Dealership.
On Saturday, March 28, 2009, my wife and I went in to speak with Mr. Giron who again reiterated his comments stating in order to return the vehicle the bank informed him we would have to pay an additional fee of up to $2,800.00. When we notified Mr. Giron that we also contacted the bank and that the bank had stated they had not heard from anyone at White Plains Honda regarding our vehicle, Mr. Giron stated that when he contacted the bank, he used a hypothetical situation when speaking to them. I told Mr. Giron that the dealership is asking that I pay a total of $4,800.00 for absolutely nothing and that I was basically being robbed and his response was “yes, legally, because you signed a contract”. The Manager of the dealership did offer to replace the vehicle with a different car as long as the price was the same and my monthly payments remained the same. I informed the Manager (John) that I would not be interested in another vehicle based on my experience with the first.
Upon leaving the dealership on Saturday March 28th, I was told by both Mr. Giron and John that I would receive a call on Monday March 30th with the results of their contact with Honda financial. I have spoken with both Honda financial and Honda motor company, and as of this morning April 1st there is no record of receiving a call from the dealership regarding my account. As a result of my call I have received case number N012009-04-0100118. Any assistance that you may be able to provide with resolving this ordeal would be immensely appreciated. I have included my card with personal cell number on the back.
I have purchased new vehicles for the last 9 years, from my very first new car, a 2000 Dodge Neon, to my Current new lease, a 2008 Acura TL (also leased through Honda Financial), and I have never been treated this unfairly and with such arrogance. Again I am just seeking a fair resolution to what has become a nightmare for my wife and newborn son. I was in possession of this vehicle for only two weeks and they are asking for $4,800.00 dollars in return. I will be more than willing to pay for a month of usage at the agreed monthly payment of $340.00 but would like the remaining $1,660.00 of my down payment returned. I am seeking your assistance in hopes that a fair conclusion can be reached. Myself nor may family can afford to lose $2,000.00 dollars much less pay an additional $2,800.00 for absolutely nothing. Any assistance which will result in resolution of our situation will be greatly appreciated. For clarification purposes I am not in possession of this vehicle and have not been since returning it for the second time. Please help.

They screwed up on our invitations-we recieved them late, the envelopes were to small to fit in and all they said they could do for us was give us $40 back when we paid over $300. And the replacement envelopes they gave us are way to big. I when I started to ask questions they said they didn't speak english!!! can you believe that NEVER EVER will they get business from anyone I know. and I wouldn't even give them one star except it won't let me submit unless I clicked on a star!

I bought a watch from shopnbc.com when they had a $25.00 discount on the purchase if I agreed to open a shopnbc credit card.
So, I did reluctantly but did get my $25.00 off the purchase. What followed I did not expect, I was called that I was late with the payment since I never called the magic phone number( I have not recieved the card or bill yet but they needed another card to bill
me on. which I did and was told that the billing would be transferred to this card for the 5 easy payments at the same rate(o% interest for 5 payments), to this I agreed and gave them another card.
I get an electronic phone message that I need to take action concerning the shopnbc account. It stated I am past due.
I then called the number on the back of the card to find out that the Customer Support does not support the credit card services, to which the lady gave me a telephone number and connected me.
After the typical electronic garbage to screen the department I told the representative that I wanted to pay my bill off. To that he asks more questions and informs me that I would be charged a $15.00 phone payment charge(which I pointed out to him that the $15.00 represents a 35% additional charge over the $41.75 owed) I repeated him the information he told me concerning the $15.00 charge. He said since I was late for a payment and wanted to pay it over the phone there would be a $15.00 charge. I then asked him if I went and paid it online would be a charge he said no or you could pay it by mail, to this I ran to the computer and found shopnbc.com credit card payments which asks me to open up a user Id etc. to find out I could not make a payment over the web and if I had any questions call this number.
By some ironic vodoo I reached the same guy I just hung up on and he told me since I was 1 payment late(again I never got the bill or card telling me what the payment date was)
If I didn't want to incur the costs then I should send the payment to them by mail priority to get a receipt(lets see what happens next).
I hope some of the Attorney Generals would look into these and other complaints made by normal everyday people that were not happy with the way SHOPNBC operates including their Credit Card Company by treat their customers,to defame their Credit rating over problems they do not want to deal with.

I have a complaint re: a bra I bought in the sears store at Erie, Pa. When I wore it for a day, the under wire made my arm sore. I have worn it once and I paid 19.99 for it. I cannot wear it any more.
It is # 35087 Olga.
I would like to know if you have a return policy and I would like to have my money back or trade it for a bra without under wire.
Thank you

HIRING A MOVER - BUYER BEWARE!!!
When I was recently in need of these services, I contracted through MIKE AND THE MOVERS, paid CARSON RELOCATION, yet the mover, JOSE CHAIN OR CHAN, told me he worked for UNITED . Much to my dismay and your good fortune, here’s my story. FACTS AS THEY UNFOLDED
1. Mike wasn’t the cheapest or most expensive, but friendly on the phone. However, when I emailed him, I received the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EMAIL I have ever seen!!! After he apologized, we agreed on a price and date.
2. The man named JOSE, who said he worked for United and a younger driver, named JOE showed up at my storage unit 30 minutes late. They were amicable and seemed to do a good job working. However, it took them three and one-half hours to make the 140-mile trip back to my house. I made the same trip in two hours in my car, so I was expecting about 3 for them. Jose told me they had stopped along the way. Mind you, the customer is being charged for this time!
3. They proceeded to unload my things, furniture in the house, boxes and storage tubs stacked in the garage. About an hour into unloading, I saw a tub with a purple lid labeled TURTLES in big black marker. This excited me because it was glass knickknacks, turtles, hand-blown “Glass Eye” ornaments with hangar, among other items that my kids and family had given me over the last 30 years. I pulled the heavy tub to the side and exclaimed to Joe, “This is my turtles, I am so happy to see it. Keep it over here;” meaning not to put it in the stacks growing in my garage. He said, “OK.” I was in and out of the house for the next 45 minutes or so and each time saw my Turtle tub sitting to the side where I put it, but other boxes were accumulating by it.
4. All seemed to go well until the last 30-40 minutes of the move, when I had to go in the house for about 15 minutes or so, which left BOTH MEN ALONE, stacking things in my garage. When I returned to the garage, I noted I could not see my Turtle tub, but assumed it was behind the many boxes which were now stacked in front of where I had left it.
5. I didn’t walk over and look for it; and almost immediately Jose went to the truck and retrieved the moving paperwork. He said, “Let’s go inside and finish the paperwork.” I did, leaving Joe alone for another 10 minutes or so.
6. When I came back outside with Jose, the truck was closed and they were in a hurry to leave. I didn’t think anything about this as it had been a long day. I did not ask them to show me the supposedly empty truck.
7. I padlocked the garage, without going inside, and did not open it again for a few days. After cleaning up the curio cabinet for my knickknacks, I returned to the still-padlocked garage to get my Turtle tub and it was not there. I spent the next couple days moving all the boxes and tubs in the area it had been sitting to look for it. Even crawled over the stack to the center hole, so I could see everything. Nothing!!!
8. I called Jose; and Joe returned to my house, moved the same boxes and tubs around finding nothing, although he assured me HE REMEMBERED the tub and my excitement. After finding nothing, I told him I was going to file a complaint. Joe indicated concern about losing his job. He emphasized his concern with a story about “a man that worked at ‘the company’ and was eventually fired for stealing from customers he moved and selling the stuff.”
9. The following day, some guy who identified himself only as ‘KEVIN, from the moving company’ called me and proceeded to tell me, “Our guys don’t steal, and I don’t think you know what you are talking about!” Obviously, that was the end of that conversation. Apparently, he didn’t work for the same company as Joe, since their stories about working thieves were entirely opposite!!!
SUMMARY OF VITALLY IMPORTANT FACTS
1. Obviously, Kevin has no knowledge of professionalism as he didn’t even identify himself! I have no idea what moving company he supposedly works for since, as I stated above, three different companies were named to me; and I only received a copy of one of the papers I signed, which has NO IDENTIFYING information on it at all!
2. The only people with access to my missing Turtle tub was Jose Chain and Joe. And how coincidental the only missing item is THE ONE TUB I MADE A BIG DEAL ABOUT!!!
3. While I do not know if Mike has any knowledge of the incident, it now seems to me that his unprofessional email in the beginning goes right along with the obvious, suspect behavior of Jose Chain and Joe and the totally unprofessional phone call from Kevin, whoever he may be!
4. Since I have always believed that people are good at heart, and I’m obviously a bit too trusting, I have no legal recourse here. And, unfortunately, while the mementos of my life are more valuable than thousands of dollars to me; they are irreplaceable, yet have no more value than a few dollars at a flea market to the new, current owners!!!
SO, DO NOT LEAVE MOVERS UNATTENDED; AS A TEAM, THEY KNOW! LAST THING, GO INSIDE THE TRUCK AND MOVE PILED PADS! LOOK IN THE CAB! Those are the facts pertaining to the movers I have listed, which I will leave to the reader’s discretion and judgment; but I will strongly reiterate
“HIRING A MOVER - BUYER BEWARE!!!”
