Bartleby’s Coffee Shop Mystic CT

Anonymous said...
Bartleby’s Coffee Shop Mystic CT - This cute little coffee shop in downtown Mystic is superb. The atmosphere is very laid back and non-commercial, saving you from having to deal with hollering staff members and cold, corporate, uninviting decor a la Starbucks. The staff members have always been nothing but cordial and efficient in my many visits. Like most coffee shops they have your usual coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, etc. Everything is brewed fresh from local all-natural and organic companies. The teas are made to order not using tea bags, which is very rare in America (and a thing that should change! Tea is not meant to be bagged). They also have a great sandwich menu including your usual cold-cut style sandwiches, wraps, veggie-burgers, and salads as well. Breakfast sandwiches are served until 11 AM every day. All food is made-to-order using fresh ingredients and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I highly recommend the veggie burgers. For those of you with a sweet tooth they have HUGE cookies that are positively delightful, as well as cakes, pies, muffins, biscotti, etc. They also carry a unique line of all-natural, organic, VEGAN cookies. They are cookies made without eggs or any kind of dairy products, and you’ll be surprised how great they taste. And, to top it all off, there is absolutely free Wi-Fi available to all customers. Truly a must-visit establishment if you are in the area with time to kill.
