Wegmans

Anonymous said...
Its a sad day when you work for a fortune 500 company for 26 years and lose your livelihood all in a matter of 2 days.
I returned to work after a work related injury and changes had taken place. I had no support from the deli manager. Performance appraisals mean nothing. 26 years with no customer complaints. High standards and caring about the product you put out for the customer means nothing to a fortune 500 company- WEGMANS!!!

  1. I have also worked for Wegmans for a number of years and have found the company to be very supportive and rewarding. It sounds to me like maybe you were hoping to slap them with a workmans comp. claim and it fell through for you and now you have sour grapes. Every employee at the store I work is very satisfied, you don't hear anyone complaining =)

  2. Look around you in any Wegmans and you will see how much this company gives to the community. They get the produce and dairy from local farmers. They bring quality products at an affordable price. The amount of jobs that are available in our community as a result of Wegmans is amazing. They offer an incredible benefits package ans are involved in giving back to the community in several ways. Honestly, the fact that you posted this after having worked for the company for 26 years, you obviously loved the company and thought highly of it, or you wouldn't have worked there so long if you didn't think they were an amazing company to work for. Year after year Wegmans is at the top of the list of the best companies to work for. It's obvious you are lashing out because they no longer found you up to their standards of quality. Who would get on here and say anything but the fact that they had a no complaints during their employment and maintained high standards of quality. It's obvious, Wegmans no longer agrees with you. If you truly were up to snuff you'd still have your job.
