GM Customer Service rip off complaint Truck noise

Anonymous said...
Anyone out there with this problem?
After purchasing the new truck I started to here a metalic rattling noise from beneath the truck at 800 - 1000 rpms at 15 - 25 mph.. at times the noise in 2nd & 3rd gear can be quite loud and distracting. The dealer had the truck for 5 days.. agreed the noise existed, but could not ID or solve the issue.

I was refered to GM Customer Service(If that's what you want to call it)... some guy far away got back to me and told me the noise was normal (w/o ever seeing/hearing the truck) The New Caslte, Delaware dealer is now trying to take back the truck as trade and offer me 8000.00 less than I paid (I have not even made the second payment yet) like they are doing me a favor... in fact when I became irritated, the sales manager started yelling at me while test driving the vehicle. I am a mechanical/electrical contractor and have purchased in the neighborhood of 25 trucks from GM (at least 5 from the dealer) in the last 10 years....This complete lack of respect or professionalism is going to stick with me for a long time.
