  1. I received an e-mail from the same address from the same "Peter Spadling" requesting a large painting to hang in his office. I recognized that it was a scam immediately. Similar scam e-mails have also been sent to photographers and other artists. Google the remystore3333@yahoo.com e-mail for more information.

  2. Good day to you over there. It's getting towards the end of the year and i need to know if i could get a Painting from you to be displayed in my office at the begining of the new year which is fast approaching. I don't mind any from of art whether oil or acrylic just to have a good catch at the entrance of the reception. For this project, i am considering a budget of $1,200 maximum and anything below will be welcome as well. In regard to size, something which could be noticably seen and appreciated will be fine. How soon can you recommend a painting of this sort for me. Alternatively, i think it will make more sence if you send me a Links to your website again.

Note because i got your contact when i was trying to surf for a painting to be displayed, i will appreciate you get back to me as soon as possible as demand is time sensitive. Thank you.

  3. I also received the same email requesting a painting for an office. The crazy thing is that I am a budding artist and never give out my personal email address, which is where I received this "request". Creeps me out.

  4. I was also contacted by this man, twice, a year apart! What is the powers that be doing about this? Can there be some way that a persons e-mail become sacred? Or have a contact address? If this guy is overseas can't we develop something that we download to prevent getting e-mails from overseas?? I get about two fraud emails a week...anyone else?

  6. I have just started getting unsolicited emails from Peter Spadling wanting to buy my art. I guess that fish smell was accurate. Apparently he is also targeting people that want to buy RV.s as well as artists. There was a scam alert at RV.net Thank you for posting your comments.

  7. I received emails from Peter and knew from the beginning that anything that sounds too good to be true, is! I knew it was "fishy" but played a long with it to see if I'd get a cashier's check. I received one for $3,600, which was way over the price I quoted him for gilcee prints. I surfed the internet to find this and other webs about him. I emailed him to say "shame on you! and some other words I won't repeat here. He emailed me back threatening that he can have me put in jail for such accusations!
