tankless water system

Bobby said...
I purchase a tankless water system and it has been the most disappointing purchase I have ever made. My wife and I are senior citizens and our water requirements are not very big. Just daily baths & house clean-up requires hot water. Water goes cold as it is bing used to shower and wash dishes. When you think it is just right temp, it either goes cold or gets too hot to shower. Extremely difficult to regulated. In addition, we waste a lot of water waiting for it to get hot. Does save on propane as we are not paying for the water in a tank to be heated and reheated, That is a VERY BIG savings. When I went back to the place of purchase I was told that I could have returned it if I had paid one of their plumbers to install it. My plumber did not qualify. I can think of NO circumstance under which I would every put another one in my residence. Any questions caontact me at 816-732-6262, answers whitemart.

  1. We have a tankless water system in our house that was built in 1986, and we are a family of 5. (3 kids under 6.)
WE use a ton of water and we have been able to make do. Even in the cold New England Winters.

I will warn you that it takes getting used to. You'll get the hang of it. The trick is water pressure. Don't use a lot when it's hot. Remember that, and you can keep an even flowing never ending hot water supply.

    Good luck.

I will say my heating bill is half that of others (our tankless water syatem runs through all the copper pipes that act as a baseboard heating mechanism for the whole house.
