Ryan's Hair Salon, in Dracut MA

Regarding Ryan's Hair Salon, in Dracut MA -

My Husband and I brought our 2 year old son to have his haircut, as we have done many times, and although the woman who cut his hair, did an excellent job and was so patient with him, the owner of the salon was VERY rude and unprofessional to us, and made us feel like our son was a nuisance because he would not sit still for the duration of the haircut. He quote, "Somebody better stay here and hold that kid still so she (hairdresser) can do her job right!)
Again, our son is only 2, and I must say that he was doing pretty good for 2, the woman cutting his hair had no complaints, and was given a really good tip!

Regardless of how well the woman did with my son, we are NEVER going to go back there and urge other mom's not to due business with them, soley because of the way the owner treated my little boy! I was appalled, and dissapointed, but there are many more child friendly salons in our area!

  1. Actually I've used that same salon for years and know them all quite well. -They are a very nice group of people that work there, owner included. I've never seen them treat anyone as you described, they've always been very pleasant. Unfortunately it sounds like if your kid was that "good" then the owner wouldn't have had to tell his parents to help out. Everyone knows 2yr olds can be a bit unruly, and that's why they have parents.
