Sears Optical

Anonymous said...
I have a complaint about Sears Optical department in Massachusetts. My progressive glasses were not made right and I had to bring them back. I was told that they were right and to go back to my eye doctor, which I did. The progression was distorted and I also had them checked by an optician in another practice who agreed they were distorted. I was able to get a refund but they insisted that they were fine and it was me who had the problem. I was furious as I work in the medical field and know not to treat patients disrespectfully. I've read other comments about there optical department and agree that they don't know how to make glasses! Meanwhle, I've had to work on the computer with my old ones and kept getting headaches. My prescription is now with someone else who took the time to listen to me about not being able to see.

  2. To the 'nasty' comment, NO reason to show you can be as much of a low-life as the Sears Optical people, but some just can't help themselves, I guess.

Sears, in general, has had numerous complaints this year in ALL departments...Large Appliances is particularly quilty for giving people the run around, not servicing them correctly, and not even setting them up right when they deliver them in the first place. This has been reported on several news channels.

As always...Buy Smart & Buyer Beware!
